Data Processing Agreement

This Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”) forms part of the agreement between you (the “Controller”) and Metanous BV, the company that operates Pagr (the “Processor”), and governs the processing of personal data carried out by Pagr on your behalf.

Roles and scope

You act as the controller of personal data contained in the data you submit for rendering; Pagr acts as a processor and processes that data only on your documented instructions and to provide the service.

Nature and purpose of processing

Pagr processes personal data for the purpose of generating documents from your templates and data, and operating, securing and supporting the service. The duration of processing is the term of your agreement.

Sub-processors

You authorise Pagr to engage sub-processors to provide the service. Pagr imposes data-protection obligations on sub-processors that are no less protective than this DPA, and will inform you of intended changes so you can object.

Security measures

Pagr implements appropriate technical and organisational measures as described in our Security overview, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls and monitoring.

Data subject requests

Taking into account the nature of the processing, Pagr will assist you with appropriate measures to respond to requests from data subjects exercising their rights under applicable data-protection law.

International transfers

Where processing involves transfers outside the European Economic Area, the parties rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.

Return and deletion

On termination of the service, Pagr will delete or return personal data processed on your behalf, except where retention is required by law.
